The Golden Slipper Tickets
The Golden Slipper Stakes is one of the most highly anticipated horse races in the Sydney Racing Carnivals and tickets for the race day sell like pancakes. During the race day, the ticketing for Sydney Turf Club members is $180 while grandstand seats can be bought for $75. Other seats are worth $70. General admission seats are worth $45 for adults and $20 for concessions.
There will also be a concert during the Golden Slipper Stakes and purchasing a package of the concert ticket and admission ticket is worth $70. Priority will be given to those who will purchase combined admission and concert tickets. You can also purchase golden passes for the Golden Slipper Stakes for $80 if you’re an adult and $35 if you are a concession. Kids aged 12 and below can enter for free.
For an intimate experience of the Golden Slipper Stakes, you can purchase ticket packages for an entire group. This gives you a chance to keep an eye on your chosen thoroughbreds while enjoying beverages or food with your friends in a private area. For the Golden Slipper Stakes, you can choose from the International Lounge, Gold Room, Style Lounge and the Slipper Club.
The International Lounge is exclusive for national and international guests, Inglis VIP’s and brand executives from national and international companies. The International Lounge is located at the Grand Pavilion near the Member’s facilities. You can gain access on the International Lounge for $495 but it will make your Golden Slipper Stakes experience worthwhile.
The International Lounge package includes member’s reserve ticketing, proximity to the parade ring, an uninterrupted view of the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, cocktails, beverages such as beer, softdrinks, red wine, white wine and sparkling wine, private betting facilities and a race book per guest. However, access to the International Lounge must be booked in advance.
You can also try the Gold Room for the Golden Slipper Stakes which is located at the top floor of Rosehill Garden’s Grand Pavilion near the 2000-metre starting mark of the race track. Grand Pavilion is regarded as the place for corporate executives and celebrities at Rosehill and you can feel like a celebrity as well for a $290 fee that already includes Goods and Services Tax.
The Gold Room package includes access to the Grand Pavilion, a table for ten or a private area for 40 guests, four-course gourmet lunch with an afternoon tea, beverages of beer, softdrinks and wine, private betting facilities, a race book per guest and a roofed viewing deck. Just like the International Lounge, you must reserve you slot in the Gold Room in advance.
If you want to enjoy some music while watching the Golden Slipper Stakes, you can stay at the Style Lounge to put some rhythm into your Golden Slipper Stakes experience. Celebrities frequently visit this place which is located at the first level of the Grand Pavilion. Entry to the Style Lounge is worth $290 per person and is already inclusive of GST.
The Style Lounge package includes general admission to Level 1 of the Grand Pavilion, cocktail-style menu of canapés, five-hour beverages package of beer, softdrinks or wines, betting facilities, race books for two people, trackside lawn, music from a DJ and priority access for the Golden Slipper concert. The Style Lounge is also available via advanced booking.
If you feel like grabbing a bite, you can visit the top-notch restaurants at the Sydney Racing Carnival venues. If you want an intimate racing experience with a group of friends, you reserve a private suite which offers lunch buffets and five-hour unlimited beverages during the Golden Slipper Day.
Private suites also offer a private TAB facility, race book for each guest, viewing monitors, an unblocked view of the Rosehill Gardens race track and a personal host or hostess for the day. Private suites can accommodate up to 25 people and you can reserve private suites for $12,500.
You can also reserve an open terrace for an even smaller group of friends. Open terraces offer three catering choices, a race book per guest, a TV monitor and a beverage starter package of 48 beers and three wines. You can reserve open terraces for $3,500 for the Golden Slipper Day.
You can also monitor the race while enjoying cocktails and beverages at the Cotton Figures Enclosure. You will be given private beverages and canapés while watching the race on plasma screens and monitoring through race books. Private betting facilities are also present in this area and STC members can gain access to it on Golden Slipper Day for $235 while member’s guests can get it for $295.
You can also book with other restaurants such as the Winning Post Restaurant, TJ’s Champagne Bar and Mumm Champagne Bar for the Golden Slipper Stakes. Winning Post features TV monitors per table, a race book, roaming TAB operators and a three-course a la carte menu.
Meanwhile, TJ’s Champagne Bar and Mumm Champagne Bar gives you a reserved seat for the day and waiter service that can serve you light snacks and beverages. Reservations for the three restaurants must be placed days and advanced and pre-order of plates for TJ’s and Mumm must be done by the Tuesday before the race. One plate contains light food that is good enough for to two people.
