Queensland Metropolitan Racing Tracks include the Ipswich Racecourse, Doomben Racecourse and Eagle Farm Racecourse. Queensland racing comes alive with the Brisbane Winter Carnival, which comes on the heels of the Sydney Autumn Carnival over Easter.

Sydney racing enjoys three metropolitan tracks. Racing NSW headquarters is the Royal Randwick Racecourse while Rosehill Gardens Racecourse is home to the Golden Slipper.
