Sarah Fortnum from Golden Rose Stakes has published her 2011 Golden Rose Form Guide which is the 5th race at Rosehill Racecourse this Saturday the 10th.

There is some interesting form coming into the $1 million Tooheys New Golden Rose and Sarah has broken down each horse and their chances to win the 2011 Golden Rose.

  1. Helmut (Career: 6: 4-0-2) – “Helmet is yet to finish outside the placings in any of his six runs and has a perfect second-up record.”
  2. Smart Missile (Career: 3: 3-0-0) – “Smart Missile is unbeaten across all of his three starts and is to date the only horse to have beaten Golden Slipper and Blue Diamond Stakes winner Sepoy.”
  3. Foxwedge (Career: 6: 3-1-0) – “Foxwedge was only beaten by a neck in the Run To The Rose by Smart Missile  and has more than proved he is a quality horse.”
  4. Manawanui (Career: 4: 3-0-1) – “Fantastic victory last start in the Up & Coming Stakes where he beat the quality field by 4.5 lengths. “
  5. Aeronautical (Career: 4: 2-0-0) – “It’s a big step up for Aeronautical here, with the gelding’s last win being in the Listed The Rosebud over a month ago.”
  6. Flight Of Pegasus (Career: 4: 1-0-1) – “Flight Of Pegasus comes into this field carrying good form, but it pales in comparison to the other 5 runners.”
