Ten thoroughbreds will participate in the 2011 Futurity Stakes and they have drawn the barriers where they will start as well. Based on her impressive performance before the race, More Joyous has been hailed as the top favourite to win the race with betting odds of 1.55. The Gai Waterhouse-trained race horse recently won the 1200-metre Breeders Classic by 2 ½ lengths and she now has won 11 of her 15 career races. The Mark Kavanagh-trained race horse will race once again after a third place finish at the 2010 Cox Plate.
