NRL Betting on Round 23 kicks off tonight with the Bulldogs at generous odds in their clash against the Cowboys. The Cowboys do have a good record against the Bulldogs but the Dogs are over the odds and I’m more than willing to take the overs when doing my sports betting. They keep winning and are second on the ladder…good enough for me.

In the second match tonight the South Sydney Rabitohs tackle the Gold Coast Titans. The Bunnies not only have to backup after their upset win over Manly last week but they have to keep winning to keep their finals dream alive. Manly look a good bet against the Roosters this week. Last week was a disaster for the reigning premiers and I don’t expect them to show the Chooks any mercy here.

The Canberra Raiders host the high flying St George-Illawarra Dragons this week. The Raiders have notched some upset wins on Monday night football over the last few seasons and they are well worth a few bob in this one. Sure to be over the odds and the Dragons haven’t won in Canberra since 2000.

The Wests Tigers take on the Cronulla Sharks at Toyota Park and it looms as a big win for the visitors. The sooner this season ends the better for the Sharks.

The Penrith Panthers take on the Brisbane Broncos this weekend with the Panthers expected to make light work of the Queenslanders. Some hope for the Broncos after their win last week but I think they just negotiated a bend in the road rather than turned the corner. Panthers to hand out some payback for that 38-18 defeat they suffered at the hands of the Broncos in round 6.

Monday night NRL football betting ods feature the Newcastle Knights and the Melbourne Storm. The Knights have given up since Brian Smith announced he was leaving and they can be on the end of a gold old fashioned hiding as the Storm look to make do without Greg Inglis.
