Friday racing at Wagga tomorrow sees the Wagga jockeys’ premiership up for grabs with Michael Travers, Brendan Ward and Andrew Bloomfield locked in a three way tie on 16 wins for the season.

The Wagga trainer’s premiership will also be decided tomorrow with Trevor Sutherland holding a three win advantage over his nearest challengers. Sutherland has trained 11 winners at Wagga races with Gary Colvin and Nick Olive both on eight.

Andrew Bloomfield looks to be a big chance to snare the jockeys’ premiership title with a full book of rides that include the filly Itzarexy who steps out in the Wagga Wagga Marketplace Ratings 62 (1200m) race.

Itzarexy was a fast finishing fourth last start over a 1000m at Wagga and connections are hoping the extra 200m of tomorrow’s race will see her take home the lions share of the prizemoney on offer.
