Scenic Blast July Cup Favourite
Australian sprinter Scenic Blast is an even money favourite to make it back to back wins in the U.K races when the Aussie sprint king lines up with fellow Australian, the Joe Janiak trained Takeover Target in the Group 1 July Cup (1200m) at Newmarket on Saturday.
The Dan Morton trained Scenic Blast made a mess of his rivals in the King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot last month and his biggest challenger in the July Cup is going to be the evergreen 10-year-old Takeover Target.
Victory in the July Cup will see Scenic Blast win the Global Sprint Challenge.
